I am no longer teaching herb walks or talking to groups as I attempt to slow down my practice and find more time for myself. There are plenty of other local herbalists happy to teach and to talk to groups - contact me if you would like their details.
However I have made an exception for this wonderful week that I am organising with Julie Bruton-Seal:
English Country Herbal Medicine course Gunthorpe Hall, Norfolk, May 17th–24th 2017
Join us on this one-week residential course and herbal retreat at historic Gunthorpe Hall in the beautiful north Norfolk countryside. It is located 9 miles from the north Norfolk coast, and is surrounded by gardens, woods and parkland. Your teachers will be Julie Bruton-Seal and Matthew Seal, authors of Hedgerow Medicine, Christine Herbert and special guest Andrew Chevallier.
On this course, we will be focusing on the plants around us, how to make medicines from them, and how to use those medicines. By the end of the week you will be confident in plant identification and herbal medicine preparation, and you will be able to treat yourself, your friends and family for common ailments. We will cover a wide range of practical herbal medicine-making.
Cost: special early bird rate of £895 if paid for in full by the end.
of December 2016. Full price £995
Includes all tuition, materials, all meals and accommodation in large 2-3 bedded rooms; single accommodation is available (but very limited) with a supplement.
